The Tale of The Little Viking: A Rescue Kitten

Following is a touching narration of resilience, about an enigmatic casual yet vigilant rescue kitten who has managed to melt the hearts of all. One little fur ball in care a short few weeks later, strolled her way into rescue after finding herself on the wrong side of luck but she made quick work mastering life inside with other cats. This little kitten has a huge heart although she is still tiny. She volunteers serving as the protector in her house, vigilant and alert watching the world needs. Her beyond-all-else emotions lead to a constant watchfulness that gives comfort not only to herself, but anyone she interacts with. Claire's curiosity is boundless, whether that means exploring every little noise or examining all the tucked away areas. The way she has chosen to adapt, shows the undeniable resilience and bravery animals have. A jewel from the disaster, who taught me: Everyone can shine brightly and bring a positive impact to their surrounding, no matter how small or weak they believe themselves.

She lives and learns every day, as even the tiniest may be so full of strength — but she is wise.

I called her name and looked for her… She was playing and at the same time watching with constant cheerfulness to create a moment of comfort in our home. Telling her story means we can celebrate how far she has come… as well create awareness of helping rescues in need. Again, no pet should be left for dead and this story is a true testament to the bond between humans and their pets. We will miss our exasperating little foreman — the places she'll go and their preparations are an audio book yet to be imagined.
