A Beautiful Violet-Backed Starling!
One of the favorites that people love seeing is this Violet-Backed Starling. It is a bird with bright shining blue green body, the violet to its back beautifies. Violet-Backed Starling Habitat
This starling is indigenous to regions of Africa and often referred to as the Violet-Backed Starling. These birds are basically found in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. They like to live in an open woodland, garden and savanna. These spots give them feed and breeding sites. The presence of trees in their habitat is significant as it also provides them with protection from predators.

The Violet-Backed Starling Most commonly eat: Fruits Insects These feed on berries, figs and other small fruits. They feed on beetles and grasshoppers. This bird is super smart, and has been able adapt to eat in such a wide variety of habitats. They may even move after other animals to find complimentary food scraps of when feed is in short supply.

Violet-Backed Starlings live in flocks. You find them usually in schools. They love to talk with each other and sing happily. They have fun playing and chasing through the trees too. Male Violet-Backed Starlings also engage in mating displays, particularly during the breeding season. This is a mating dance — the males puff their feathers and turn around, showing off their back-side color.
