A Day at the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park
A Trip to the Hairdresser
Fresh out if the hair salon Road trip ready with styled hair Since I have always had a passion for the wild, today I set out to explore more of that in Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. It is renowned for both its incredible wildlife and beautiful landscapes.
Discovering Rooiputs Waterhole
After some driving, I came to the Rooiputs waterhole. He also explains that this place is a (bush) well where many animals drink water. While sitting quietly by the waterhole, I saw a wonderful lion. Only a proud lion, strong and robust Lay in the shade. I was very fortunate to experience it in a personal level.
Watching Wildlife
As I watched the lion, several other animals caught my eye. Some springboks danced daintily around the waterhole. And their little white tails would wriggle as they ran, like the word itself made them happy. I glanced over and saw some zebras grazing on the river bank. Their brown landscape punctuated by black and white striped colors.
The Beauty of the Park
The Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park is huge, a park teeming with life. It can be easily believed that the red dunes continue to eternally—decreasing in altitude as far away from you an your sight allow. I grabbed my camera and took beautiful pictures of the scenes. I had found a bright blue sky above and warm red sands that stretched far into the horizon.
Time to Leave
As the sun climbed up I knew it was time to leave, so after a while around at kubu waterhole in Makgadikadi saltpans Game Reserve. I was quietly content as I turned towards home again. Especially after seeing the stunning lion and other animals, my hair from her new cut seemed even more SPECIAL!
I am looking forward to my next wild adventure! I will never forget the beautiful Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.
