Shelter Puppy Hugs Her Sister to Comfort Her After Being Rescued

A New Life for Two Sisters

Two small puppies at a tiny animal shelter had just gotten adopted. They were called Bella and Lucy. Bella was big and brown, Lucy small white. They had been born into the same household. Fortunately for them, they were saved from a worse fate. Now they were protected and poised for a second chance.

The Power of Love

By the time Bella and Lucy were surrendered to us, it was evident they had been terrified. That was the very first time that theyd left there old place Bella realised that Lucy was very sad. Bella had another long hug with Lucy to help her feel better. She held Lucy very tight with her tiny arms. Lucy wagged her tail and felt loved by a sister. It was that moment of bondness between them.

Preparing for Adoption

Shelter workers found the two puppies easily,Happy Days! They intended to get Bella and Lucy placed into a home. The workmen tended to his welfare; they fed him and kept him in good health. Bella and Lucy loved to play. They would run after toys and even sleep hugging one another. They were the infatuation of all, for their sweet and playful disposition.

A Bright Future Ahead

As the days went by, many families visited with their children in today’s shelter to meet all of these puppies. A few families had inquired about adopting just one puppy, though the clear bond between Bella and Lucy was enough for manager Maggie Healy to believe that they couldn’t be split up. Mercifully, a kind family adopted both Bella and Lucy. They had a big yard they all puppies could run in.

And today Bella and Lucy are in a good home. They lovingly continue to comfort each other. Now, they are both prepared for this new journey with smiles on their faces that simply light up our lives everyday.
