Young Leopardess and Sambar Fawn

A Day in the Forest

Once a young leopardess roamed in vast and green forest. She was Powerful, Full of Curiosity, and Much Energy. It was daytime, the sun shone in quite warm and pleasant shades of orange light; I could hear birds on all sides singing aloud. Somewhere birds chattered, leaves shushed and—far in the distance—a scrabbling rustling. Today she was hungry and went to hunt.

The Search for Food

While was going around, the leopardess saw something swinging in grass. It was a baby Sambar fawn, slowly enjoying a taste of the grass. Being young and innocent he did not know how close it was this time At once, the young leopardess dropped low as she begun to stalk her prey. Carefully making no noise she proceeded closer, She took each step with careful consideration as she closed in on the fawn.

The Chase Begins

At once, the young fawn raised its head. It knows something is amiss The leopardess seized this opportunity. She always sprung from her hiding place and jetted towards the baby. The fawn ran into the woods out of fear. Its heart thumped, it leapt over broken branches and maneuvered through dense bushes. The zebra was no match for the leopardess, her hapless dinner — but neither could catch up with Hector.

The Fierce Hunt

The chase was intense. That is if the young leopardess had not already used all her might to bring down this fawn. Her muscles flexing as she hurdled a stream and weaved between trees. The leopardess chased, the fawn fled zigzag. The leopardess remained persistent, however. Her carnivorous side reigned supreme, yielding a focused little girl aiming and running her weapon to any direction.

The Outcome

The fawn grew weary after many minutes of running. But it went too slow But it was make or break for the leopardess. Then she pounced with one last sprint. Gingerly, with a quick motion she grabbed the fawn. The hunt was over. The young leopardess had just pulled that off. She had proven she could still catch her prey and fend for herself out in the open.

Conclusion

The Wood is where the more innocent lives go to die. Every animal has its place in this balance. This kill was just part of the process for young leopardess. She would eat, and get strong again to face the wild.
