Every year, a penguin named Bubbles makes an incredible journey. He swims 5,000 miles to visit the man who saved him. This story shows us how strong friendship can be, even between a penguin and a human.

How It All Began

Poor Bubbles was so young when she had her scary moment with danger. A fishing net trapped him. He could not get out. Luckily, a nice man named Jack rescued Bubbles. Quickly, Jack worked to help him out of the net. Jack nursed him back to health after Bubbles was saved Jack finally released Bubbles into the ocean when he was strong enough.

A Special Bond

Bubbles never forgot Jack even when he returned to the sea. The man who rescued his life flashed in front of him. As spring rolls around every year, Bubbles begins his long swim back to Jack. The process can take weeks. Bubbles swims in cold waters, and battles with the waves; edging out possible dangers. He simply keeps working because he knows that his friend is here.

The Reunion

It is a happy moment when Bubbles turns up at Jack’s house. Jack is waiting beside the water, eager to lie eyes on Bubbles. And when they meet, family reunion size. Jack regularly feeds Bubbles with fish and they pass the day together. Jack speaks to Bubbles, and it appears that the little fellow comprehends everything he is stating.

A Lesson About Friendship

Bubbles story is about friendship It makes no difference if you are a penguin or human. True friends take care of each other across the miles. Love powers him onward but Bubbles swims such a distance. Bubbles and Jack can teach us that we must help our friends, as well as to value those special friendships.
