Physical Features
Fennec foxes are tiny, on par with kittens. It is covered in a soft sandy colored coat helping it blend into the desert. It has large ears, sometimes 6-inch ones! Big Ears — These big ears are used by the fox to keep cool in the hot desert and also help it hear from far distances, like moving prey.
Habitat and Lifestyle
Fennec Foxes are native to the Sahara Desert and other parts of North Africa. During the day, they often excel in digging burrows within the sand to keep cool. They come out to feed at night. Due to their nocturnal nature, fennec foxes are mainly crepuscular and either sleeps during the day orwhen you/ your sweet pet is at work!
Diet
Fennec foxes are omnivores. They are therefore omnivorous, herbivoress and carnivores. They mainly feed on insects, small rodents, birds and fruits. They are excellent hunters and will frequently get insects by digging through the sand in night hours.
Social Behavior
These foxes are social which animals. They generally live in groups of families. Slender lorises can communicate with each other through gentle calls, barks and even growls! It helps them to protect themselves and catch food.

Fennec foxes are able to live for an extended time without water. The biggest chunk of water in a wombat’s diet is obtained from the food they eat.
