These are dogs that assist people with things they need to do living a more independant life. Pilots volunteer their time, money and expertise to fly these dogs home safely. The co-pilot of each and every pilot is a canine. Not only are these dogs perfect companions, but they also make the best workers. They cuddle up next to pilots during flights, providing emotional support and companionship. They make everyone’s travel experience better, easier. From happy tail wags to nudging for attention these dogs show us the best thing about friendship.

It inspired us to provide hundreds of service dogs because now we were the people and their furry companions with our volunteer pilots. They perform daily chores, support in times of sorrow and grief and are a best mate. The effect of the kind of work is life-transforming. The strong bond that forms between service dogs and their humans is immeasurable, these families are happier and more independent.
