The Polar Bear That Forgot It’s a Bear!
A Strange Beginning
Once upon a time, in the chilly land of ice and snow, there lived a polar bear named Benny. Benny was fluffy, white, and big, just like all polar bears. But there was one big problem: Benny forgot he was a bear! He woke up one day and thought he was just a regular animal, and that made his life quite confusing.
Benny’s Confusion
Benny wandered through his frozen abode, scavenging for nourishment. He watched seals out in the water, but didn’t know they were for him to catch. He only wore a sweater and as he watched the seals play, they seemed to be making suggestions towards him as if there was something wrong. The seals laughed and said, Hey…where is your fishing pole? Benny wasn’t sure what a fishing pole was.
Wanda looked confused. “But you are a bear! You have a long coat and claws. You can swim and hunt!” Benny scratcthed his head trying to make sense of it.
Finding His Way
So Wanda decided to help Benny out. Just like she did to go catch some fish. Benny was clumsy and afraid at first Although after a little practice, he swam better. He quickly caught his first fish! Benny felt happy and proud.
He eats with a spark in his chest “I can do this! I am a bear!” he shouted with joy. Whenthey switched to grizzly, it was then that Benny knew he would rather be a polar bear.
A New Adventure
Benny never again forgot he was a bear, after that day. Orca Kalina — as Wikie believes him to be named swam, fished and explored his cold new home much more robustly. Benny owed to Wanda the thanks for reminding him of his true identity. And so, he was free to live happy ever after as the polar bear that nature had meant him to be, and who should have been from birth (well prepared indeed for a long life of wide-eyed wonder in worlds heavy with snow).
